Packard Transport, Inc was founded in 1989 with the goal of establishing the finest truckload freight carrier in the United States, utilizing independent owner-operators exclusively.

 Today, Packard Transport, Inc. is one of America’s fastest growing truckload carriers. Our fleet of flatbed, drop deck, step deck, vehicle hauler, and van trailers provides service throughout the continental United States, and selected provinces in Canada. 

 The corporate office is located in Channahon, IL, approximately 45 miles south of Chicago, IL. In addition to the 50 central office personnel in Channahon, Packard has over 125 authorized agents, and over 300 independent owner/operators. It is our goal to grow at a rate allowing us to take advantage of all possible economies of scale but without losing the personal touch.

 Our customers include numerous Fortune 500 companies and the Department of Defense. Regularly scheduled shipments, as well as one-time loads, are handled with equal courtesy and efficiency. Packard has the ability to transport a variety of flat and drop deck cargo, including over size products, due to the wide range of equipment accessible through its many owner-operators. If required, Packard has full EDI capability.  

 Packard Transport, Inc. and Packard Logistics, Inc. are certified to the new ISO 9001:2008 standard. ISO was created by the International Organization for Standardization in Geneva, Switzerland to set international standards for quality management systems. Packard has been continually certified to ISO standards since receiving it original ISO certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification, Inc. in 1998.

 Packard Transport, LLC is active in many community activities including United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lions Club, Helping Hand and other civic activities.
