Safety Topic of the Month: Spring 2008. Warm weather is approaching. As a result, there will be more roadside inspections being performed. With that in mind, please be sure to keep your trucks clean and inspected in preparation for these increased roadside inspections.

April 2008 Safer Numbers Released! Thank you to everyone for your hard work in keeping your equipment well maintained. For the month of April, Packard's SafeStat numbers decreased because of your attention to safety.
 
AVOID being placed out of service. .....
AVOID being placed out of service. During the month of April 10 operators were placed OS, compared to 13 in March. Load Securement, Brakes, Tires and Lights were the main reasons operators were issued violations and placed OS. PLEASE pay extra attention to these areas to AVOID being placed OS!

Congrats to those who received Clean 1, 2 & 3 inspections. Gary Dutton, Ron Linville, Robert Parish, Charles Williams, Kenny Clark, Charles Phifer, Dallas Spurlock, Richard Duren (2x) and Michael Agee. Packard rewards $100 for Clean Level 1 & 2 inspections.
