Packard Transport, Inc. and Packard Logistics, Inc. Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification -- Packard Transport, LLC and Packard Logistics, Inc. announce that they have achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification at their Channahon office - Internal Operations. To earn this recognition, Packard successfully implemented a quality system which was audited and registered by an accredited third-party registrar, Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification, Inc. "Achieving ISO certification demonstrates to our customers Packard's total commitment in providing quality freight transportation services," stated Rex D. Easton, President. "Earning this recognition on Packard's first attempt is evidence of our dedication and commitment to quality." ISO 9001:2008 was created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in Geneva, Switzerland, to set international requirements for quality management systems. The ISO standard is comprised of 20 elements and is designed to look at all of the important processes affecting quality, and addresses an organization's structure, responsibilities, procedures, documentation, processes and resources used to produce a universal base line for quality management. ISO 9001:2008 has become the most widely used quality management standard in the world. Packard's corporate office is located in Channahon, Illinois.
